Nitta Shinzi
Nitta es un joven artista cuya obra revela los hechos que nos rodean, a partir de la estructura del espacio, de una forma más estructural que romántica. 1.- Su obra ha sido definida como utópica, pero parece más sugestiva que prescriptiva, más humorística que normativa. ¿Está de acuerdo con esta etiqueta? En primer lugar, estoy sorprendido de las palabras que dices: "utópica, sugestiva y humorística". Nunca había pensado en mi creación con esos adjetivos. Yo diría simplemente que mis obras son simples estructuras, cuyas líneas confluyen unas con otras. No doy ningún significado ni mensaje a las estructuras que dibujo. Así que no tengo que estar de acuerdo con su opinión. Esa opinión es sólo suya, y eso es importante. 2.- ¿Le fue difícil encontrar su sitio como artista una vez terminada la Universidad? No entiendo qué significa "el sitio como artista". ¿Significa estilo de creación, un concepto, un espacio en el que exponer las obras? De todas formas, creo que los artistas son quienes resisten siempre a los tiempos difíciles. 3.- ¿En qué proyectos estás trabajando ahora? Estoy realizando un proyecto para Art Space Cero desde hace dos años. Este proyecto se centra en un espacio de arte en Osaka dirigido por algunos artistas. Y Non Stop está incluido, por supuesto. Estoy pensando en algo parecido a un Café. Serían mercancías internacionales; la importación y exportación tiene una historia, social y política como el norte y el sur. Un Coffee shop es un lugar atractivo en términos de relaciones personales y el café tiene un buen gusto. Sin embargo, no veo ninguna perspectiva para el proyecto aún.		Nitta is a young artist and his work relates to the facts that surround us, following the construction of the space, focusing more in the structural than the romantic aspect. 1.- Your work has been called utopian, but it appears more suggestive than prescriptive, more humorous than normative. Do you agree with the label? At first, I was surprised at your words you said that, "utopian, suggestive, and humorous". Therefore I never had thought of creation my work by using these words. I just say that, my work has only very simple structure, which one line that consists of three lines entwines it with itself. And I don't give any meaning and message for this structure other than to draw. So I don't need to agree with the label that you mentioned about my artwork. Your opinion is only yours, and it's important. 2.- Did you have a difficult time finding your place as an artist once you left college? I don't understand what 'the place as an artist' means. Does it mean style of creation, a concept, a space to exhibiting works to someone such as an audience? Anyway, I think the artists are who keep on a difficult time for always. 3.- What projects are you working on now? I'm attending project Art Space CERO since two years ago. This project is that the gallery space in Osaka for Artist is managing and own with some artists. And NON STOP group, of course. Now, I'm thinking about COFFEE. It is very worldwide goods and it's the export and import trade has historical story, that's so social and political thing like south north issue. Coffee shop is attractive place in terms of human relationships, and coffee has good taste. However I haven't seen any perspective of a project yet.
